Business support

The challenges of the new millennium include the proper organisation of work, staff retention and recruitment, to name just a few. It is striking to everyone how much companies are looking for capable, good employees, as the options are shrinking. For quite a few years the labour market has been opening up to the younger generation, cheaply employing enterprising students. In the IT sector, for example, more and more new positions are being created, more and more programmers are needed, and international competition for employees results in serious turnover. Well-paying workplaces fill up quickly, while companies with a weaker culture waste their energy on constant recruitment and onboarding.

How do we create a good company culture?

On the one hand, let us value what we have. On the other hand, culture most often comes from the leader and develops from that person's values. The leader's shortcomings or excesses are reflected in the company's operation, and at the same time in its profits and losses. How do we create a successful company?

Simple: as leaders, let us have a clear vision of goals, communication and success, and let us resolve our own and family-originated shortcomings in values and ethics. A selfless, decisive leader creates a culture that colleagues follow. For example, a shouting shop manager crushes otherwise well-meaning shop staff, thereby causing serious staff turnover and a lot of extra time spent on training. Or a company leader with a rescuer syndrome surrounds himself with employees who do not take responsibility, miss deadlines and communicate dishonestly with partners. So the company leader has to fix the mistakes of the employees he recruited himself countless times.

A short methodology for creating a prosperous workplace and an advanced corporate culture: find your own weak points, face them with a professional who is able to guide you, improve your own business ethics and values, and then carry the new values into your communication with the people working at the company. Several methods can be applied for this change.

Methodological options

I help target the development of the workplace atmosphere and corporate culture with various methods.

  • Talk and discussion over a business lunch or breakfast – on the topics below and others on request
  • Trainings – self-awareness, soft skill development for groups and individuals
  • Coaching – business coaching for senior executives, exploring and improving the areas that can be developed.

What else I can add beyond the corporate culture development process:

Talks can support employees' individual development and the refinement and broadening of their worldview. At the same time, this is a service that connects employees more emotionally to the company and can reduce workplace turnover.
